I haven't had a Reuben sandwich as good for a long time! The lady chef is so sweet and lovely. A+++++

Was a bit sceptical walking in but don't be swayed by it's cozy stature. Fantastic hand cut fresh fries and hand made burgers. Poutine was well worth the upgrade. Generous portions, hot, fresh and at a surprisingly low price. Will come back here anytime in in the area.

My husband and I have stopped here a few times for breakfast or lunch while up in Haliburton. They've got a pretty big menu for a small place and everything i've had so far has been super yummy (they make an awesome BLT).

This place is a hidden gem. Great home cooked diner style food. Diane serves great comfort food. Scratch made and delicious. I don't go for the ambiance. But do go for the great homemade food and friendly service. We'll be back when we are in town again!

Cozy little diner right off the main road. Great comfort food! Everything made fresh, nothing from frozen (including burgers, fries, etc)! A local hidden treasure for sure!

My favourite spot to grab some home made food. Traditional diner fare with always an option for healthier choices.

This place is a little hole in the wall that maybe serves 20 people at a time. But don't let the looks fool you, it is a excellent place if you are looking for home cooked comfort food!!!

This place is the definition of a greasy spoon. Its dated and dingy but the food is fantastic! The Burger was one of the best I've had, and the chicken wrap, my wife said, was her best! And enough cannot be said about the fries. However they do run out of things sometimes and the omissions weren't acknowledged before we had ordered.

Terrible place. Food is bad, service even worse.

Good little restaurant- the outdoor patio is a great way to enjoy Haliburton's Head Lake and some good food.

This place is fantastic. You have to really look for it, but it sure is worth the search. Everything is made from scratch. The freshness and quality of the food is amazing. None of that frozen or packed food here. Everything Diana makes is just like it was cooked from your best home cooked meal. This place is too good not to share with others. Great food and great value. Love this place.

Just had the banquet burger here and it was amazing! I think it is the best burger in town. Gave 4 stars as the inside could be cleaner (really it is not about the inside with this place, it is all about the awesome food) but in the summer, get take out and sit by the lake! Great location.

One of my two favourite places to eat in Haliburton. This place does indeed serve up homemade comfort food. Always fresh, hot and made when ordered. I really love this place and Maple Avenue Tap and Grill!

Excellent location right beside the gas station. Good place to stop for lunch on the trail. Fish and chips was fantastic. Will definetly stop again next time through.
